The David Yencken Scholarship for a PhD in Landscape Architecture
In 1988, Professor David Yencken was appointed to the Elisabeth Murdoch Chair of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning at the University of Melbourne. In honour of Professor Yencken's legacy, a prestigious PhD scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding student to undertake original and innovative PhD research into an aspect of landscape architecture at the Melbourne School of Design.
Value: $30,000 per annum. Total award amount up to $105,000.
Duration: Three years (commencing early 2012) with one possible six month extension.
Eligibility: Proposals must further research into an aspect of landscape architecture. Australian or New Zealand citizens or Australian permanent residents only. Applicants must meet the criteria for entry to PhD program in the Melbourne School of Design at the University of Melbourne.
