PROPERTY PROFILE

THE MASTER OF PROPERTY FOCUSES ON REAL-WORLD PROJECTS WHICH RANGE ACROSS THE FULL PROPERTY AND DEVELOPMENT CYCLE, PREPARING STUDENTS FOR THE REALITIES OF PROFESSIONAL LIFE.

COURSE OVERVIEW

The Master of Property is a professional degree for graduates wanting to gain employment in the property industry.

The Master of Property provides advanced study in:

  • Property valuation and analysis
  • Development and management of property; and
  • Professional practice in a property context.

These property-related studies may be enhanced with cross-disciplinary studies from the allied fields in urban design, urban planning, architecture and landscape architecture, creating a great opportunity to locate property specific knowledge in a broader context and therefore programs of study suited to the needs of the individual student.

There is also the opportunity to take research subjects which may enable students to progress to further studies as a PhD candidate.

CAREER OUTCOMES

Graduates with a property specialisation find employment as property valuers, land economists, property managers, property analysts, property investment advisers and property development advisers.

PROFESSIONAL/INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION

This course has been designed to meet the requirements of professional associations, and undergoes a regular review process for quality assurance.
